Our bakery and shop

The success of our market stall has led to the opening of a unique shop in the centre of Lancaster where a range of cupcakes is served, together with gooey brownies, cookies, traybakes and flapjacks. Complementary hot and cold drinks including locally roasted Atkinson’s coffee and the full range of  Teapigs  tea are served to take away or enjoy on the window seat while watching the world go by.

The relaxed and friendly atmosphere combined with the Yummy treats on offer make this the perfect place for family and friends to meet up for cake and coffee. Come and while away the hours with us and enjoy our range of newspapers, magazines and wireless Internet access.

Our markets

Yummy Cupcake Company started out on the Lancaster Charter Market in 2006 and continues to stand every Wednesday and Saturday just outside HMV. While we used to bake our cupcakes at home and drive them to market, our bakery is now in the city centre and we can wheel out hundreds of cupcakes throughout the day! The thriving street market brings in people from all over the district and creates a real buzz, especially with its themed seasonal markets.

Yummy Cupcake Company is a small company based in Lancaster and where possible we source our top quality ingredients from the local area. Our butter, milk, free range eggs and cream all come from Lancashire while our coffee is roasted in the town itself.
